Acan, Grace seems to float when she moves despite the fact that she is usually toting her one year old twins. This graceful young woman is the mother of five children, from the twins Ochen John and Sheila to Innocent, age 11.

One of her children has been placed in a home for children as Grace simply does not have the resources to care for all of her children. Grace is divorced and her former husband contributes to the family by paying the school fees for the oldest two children. Her clean neat home is tiny, approximately 5’ by 10’.

She has spent her bead money on food and rent. Her dream for the future is to have a bit of savings and bring her son home from the orphanage. When asked what she does with her free time she said “I don’t have any. But I used to like to play soccer.”
