Ichel, Grace, at 25, cares for her three children and the three orphaned children of her brother and his wife who have died from AIDS. Her husband is unemployed. Grace is trying to support the entire family with her income from BeadforLife and is buying food and paying rent with her income. Her one room home has recently had electricity put in which has raised her rent from $7 per month to $10 a month.

One of her nephews is sickly and needs to be tested for HIV. He and a brother were abducted by the rebels in the north but managed to escape in the night. Grace has a beautiful smile and is hopeful for the future. She would like to have a charcoal business someday.
