Oroma, Judith, 35, is married with four children. Her family came from Gulu in the north. Her husband and brothers were abducted by the LRA. Her husband managed to escape and moved his family to the Acholi Quarter. He sometimes finds work as a porter for construction sites.

Judith suffers from chest pain and asthma and can no longer work in the quarry. With a broad smile she says that she has been able to buy a little vegetable stand in the nearby market with her bead money (30,000Sch. about $18). Now she is making some money to help pay the school fees of her children. When asked what her dream for the future is she replies "No dreams just worries about how I will get my children through school."
