Just wanted to share with you that we had our Bead for Life party last night and it was a HUGE success. My daughter, who is 14, and I hosted with another friend. We invited about 50 people, many of whom were mothers and daughters, and our co-host invited three women from her church who are from Uganda. The women from Uganda made a delicious bean and vegetable stew, served over baked masa. I made the African yam stew from the recipe you sent, and I must have given out 20 copies of the recipe! We played African music, lit candles from South Africa, learned more about Uganda, talked, laughed, and sold lots of jewelry. All of our friends were very happy to be a part of the Bead circle, and so are we.I will be in touch when I send the money and products back to you -- I'm going to hold them for a couple more days in case anyone who couldn't come to the party stops by. But we don't have a lot left!
Thank you for the wonderful inspiration and the good work you are doing! The women from Uganda who joined us last night were so grateful for what is being done for their country!
