As the BeadParty Program Manager, I like to encourage our hosts and their guests to write to the Beaders in Uganda as a way to join the circle of caring and generosity between continents. These notes are then hand-carried from the North American office to the Ugandan office where they are shared with the Beaders.  For both the Beaders and those writing from North America, this exchange is a tangible reminder of the value created by action on both ends.  This is an example of the endless cycle of effect and connection. For the supporters, it gives an actual face to the Beaders, and in turn, for the Beaders, it gives an identity to the supporters.  Below are a few examples of the kind thoughts and deep admiration shared with our Ugandan sisters.

This is a wonderful idea! Is there a possibility that anyone who purchases the beads could send a written message also?

Hello, the BeadForLife organization is really a blessing for me to see as it is very inspiring. I am not alone..I empower women with beads as well and my ministry is Beading2Blessings International and I have been to South Africa teaching, Liberia West Africa and Philippines and where ever God will send me. I just released a pastors wife back to Uganda carrying the gift of beading and she is already ready to teach the women there. I would like to connect her to the organization to meet the women and is it possible you could let me know how I could do it. She lives in Kampala, Uganda and they have a large church there. She needs to know where to find supplies to continue beading..hooks..spacers..beads ect…please advise me how I can help First Lady Faith in Uganda. I would also like to know how to connect to Bead For Life as well because I plan to buy beads which will help the Uganda women and when I make the Jewelry I will seed Sister Faith with a portion of it making it a double blessing. Thanks again and remember my email is savedbygracetw@aol.com.

    MZURI KABISA !
Having volunteered as a Peace Corps/Jinja teacher in arts in Uganda, this enterprise is extraordinarily appreciated. To assist women in development and independence is key to the future of my favorite place on earth. Congratulations to all who work so hard to achieve their goals.
    Continued success to you.
