BeadforLife Volunteer Coordinator, Korri Roach, met with Erin and asked her the following questions:
1. Where are you from?
-Parker, Colorado
2. What are some of your hobbies, likes, dislikes, interests, passions, etc.?
-I love being outside: running, hiking, camping, canoeing, etc. While I love
being active I also enjoy watching movies with my sister.
3. How did you come to be a volunteer for BeadforLife?
-I saw a flier on the CU campus and looked at the Beadforlife website and
then decided I wanted to get involved
4. How long have you been a volunteer with BeadforLife?
- I started with the student group on campus my freshman year then started
volunteering in the office my sophomore year and now I’m a senior. So, I
guess I’ve been working with BeadforLife in some way for almost 3 years now.
5. How has being a volunteer at BeadforLife changed your life?
-Being involved at beadforlife has been a great experience and it has fueled
my desire to work for an international non-profit someday.
6. What brings you the most joy in your life?
My God, my family and my dog.
7. If you could meet any one person, who would it be and why?
I can’t think of anyone I would really like to meet. I am mostly affected,
encouraged, and inspired by the people I have already met in my life. I know
as I go on in life I will meet more people that will dramatically alter my
outlook on life, but I won’t know who they are until I meet them.
