BeadforLife is working to eradicate poverty in Uganda, and to educate North Americans to participate in fighting extreme poverty worldwide. We believe people want decent opportunities to support themselves and their families rather than handouts. That is why income generation is the core of our program in Uganda. BeadforLife is a 501(c)(3) organization.

BeadforLife also recognizes four critical pillars of community development that enable people to lift themselves out of poverty forever. We focus our community development funding in these areas: Health, Vocational Training and Education, Sustainable Life Skills, and Affordable Housing. In addition to our own development work BeadforLife has given support and financial grants to other organizations working in Uganda.

Impoverished people worldwide are often the victims of poor health. Poverty forces people to live with poor sanitary conditions, unsafe drinking water, and high population density.
