Our Uganda BeadforLife staff work hard to identify young Ugandan women and men who are intelligent and enthusiastic, yet have been forced to leave school. Despite coming from extremely challenging and disadvantaged backgrounds, they still dream of one day attending school and learning marketable skills.  Most courses last between one and two years.

BeadforLife invites you to partner with a bright Ugandan youth to give him or her the chance to leave poverty behind. Sponsors and donors can be individuals or groups, clubs, classrooms, churches, or families.  Thank you for caring about young people halfway around the world. They will work hard to make the most of the opportunity you are creating.

"Weybali nyo!" Thank you!

You can help by:

1. Sponsoring an Individual Student

Sponsoring one student for a Vocational Training Course costs between $1000 and $2000 and covers tuition, examination fees, books, uniforms, transportation,  materials and equipment, and lunch.  You will receive a photo and biography of the student you sponsor and a letter from them once a year. Please click here to sponsor a student.

2. Donating to the Vocational Training Fund

Your donation will be pooled with others and once the fund reaches the level necessary for sponsorship, we will select a waiting student and enroll them in their chosen course.  When that happens you will receive an email about the student your donation helped.  Please click here to donate to the Vocational Training Fund.
