(this part of the BFL website currently under construction, keep coming back)

Where yesterday there was nothing but pasture, today a village of houses for 120 impoverished Ugandan families is taking shape. Thanks to a collaboration with Habitat for Humanity, the BeadforLife Village is rising outside Kampala in Uganda. Shovelful by shovelful, brick by brick, beaders are enthusiastically building their own and each others’ homes. As one beader says: “If you own a home, you are never really poor.”

Find out about the village, meet some of our families, keep tabs on its progress, and get involved!
