One Bead At A Time

One Bead At A Time

BeadforLife believes every story counts. We employ women artisans to create beaded jewelry from recycled paper allowing them to substantially increase their incomes—but that’s only the beginning. Supported by BeadforLife fans and friends like you, Street Business School helps women break out of poverty by giving them the tools they need to start locally-based businesses. Empowered as business owners, they build up their enterprises, meet their daily needs, and raise capable and confident children who will break the cycle of generational poverty.

Handcrafting a World
without Poverty

We work with women who want to take charge of their own futures and lift their families from poverty.

BeadforLife employs women artisans across Uganda, who find joy in creating beautiful things with their own hands, and the sale of their products supports our entrepreneurial training programs, giving women the knowledge and confidence they need to become business owners in their own right.
