Collection And Use Of Information


The information we collect is used to improve our communications to users and supporters including online shoppers, donors, volunteers and other people who believe in and support our mission.

If you purchase BeadforLife items online, donate to the organization, or subscribe to our e-newsletter, we will collect your name, email address and payment information. We use this information to improve the experience we offer you online, through our customized communications, our philanthropy teams and customer care.

  • When you inquire about our work, we collect your name and email.
  • When you purchase a product, we capture your name, email, address and payment information.
  • When you sign up for our email newsletters, we may track your opens or clicks within those newsletters.
  • When you make a gift, we collect the information needed to fulfill your donation.

BeadforLife uses donation processing platforms called Acceptiva and Donor Perfect, which collect your name, mailing address, phone number, email and last four digits of your credit card, in order to manage your donation and provide the appropriate tax receipts.

Cookies And Web Beacons


BeadforLife uses “cookies” to improve your experience with our website, for example, by remembering the contents of your order before you complete it. A cookie is a small data file stored on the user’s hard drive that allows our website to recognize when the user returns to the site using the same computer and web browser. Our hosting facilities and service providers are based in the United States.

Children’s Privacy


This website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children. If we learn we have personal information relating to a child under age 16, we will delete that information.
